Santa carries an enormous dark green gift sack filled with presents over his shoulder, while a little girl behind him helps support the heavy Christmas load. He is also holding a tartan-wrapped present and an envelope. The girl bravely lends a hand to help get the enormous sack of gifts to its destination.

This hand-painted Christmas figure is by the American Christmas brand Possible Dreams by Department 56. The real fabric clothing is stiffened and carefully shaped using the signature Clothtique technique. The embroidered swirl patterns on the large gift sack and the warm scene between Santa and his little helper give Sharing the Load a particularly charming character.
